Qiala Patrice
You didn’t lose yourself.
You forgot to look.
The book, the talks, the work — it’s all one invitation back to who you actually are
For Women Who Carry a Lot
This is for the women who hold the room together quietly. The ones who keep showing up for everyone else while quietly disappearing from their own lives. I write, speak, and create for the woman who is tired of performing wellness and ready to actually come home to herself.
What if the woman you used to be is still in there, waiting to be remembered?” — the question at the center of everything I do
WHO I WRITE AND SPEAK FOR
Meet your speaker
Hi, I’m Qiala
I am not the loudest voice in the room and that is on purpose. I am a witness, not a performer. When I write, when I speak, when I show up, I am not bringing hype or a highlight reel. I am bringing presence, honest stories, and language for the things women have been carrying without a name.
I am the author of First Name, Not Mom, founder of Still Becoming Media, and the woman behind the Q.I.A.L.A. framework, a practice for reclaiming identity through questioning, investigating, aligning, living, and activating. I write and speak for women who are tired of surface-level inspiration. They want something real, and they want to feel met where they actually are.
What I bring to every room:
A Steady, Honest Presence
I do not overwhelm a room. I ground it. I lead with calm, intention, and the kind of stillness that gives people permission to exhale.
A Message That Lands
My work is rooted in lived experience and the Q.I.A.L.A. framework. It meets women in the moments they are usually too tired or too ashamed to name out loud.
Insight That Stays With Them
I connect naturally, even in large rooms. People leave feeling personally seen, not just generally inspired, and they remember the conversation long after.
Impact That Keeps Working
I plant language and questions that keep doing the work after the event ends. Women walk away thinking, feeling, and quietly becoming.
TALKS THAT MEET WOMEN WHERE THEY ARE
Speaking Topics
I create talks for women who are tired of performing wellness and ready to actually feel met. Each topic is rooted in the Q.I.A.L.A. framework and built for women who are leading, caregiving, or quietly holding it all together. Here are a few of the themes I am most often invited to speak on.

First Name, Not Mom
A talk for mothers who have quietly disappeared underneath the role. We explore what it means to reclaim your name, your voice, and your becoming, without abandoning the people you love.

Still Becoming
For women in seasons of rebuild, rebirth, or quiet transition. This talk gives language to the in-between and offers a practice for moving forward without performing certainty.

The Q.I.A.L.A. Framework
A signature talk introducing my five-part practice for reclaiming identity. Question. Investigate. Align. Live. Activate. Practical, grounded, and built for women who want a real path back to themselves.
BOOKING FOR 2026
Bring this conversation to your stage
I am currently booking keynotes, workshops, and panel conversations for women’s conferences, parenting communities, neurodivergent and mental health spaces, corporate wellness gatherings, and faith-rooted events. If you are creating space for women to slow down and remember themselves, I would love to be considered.

THE PODCAST
A new conversation, arriving in 2026
